| For over 50 years, cold sawing has proven to be an effective way to cut tubes, shapes, and solids - quickly. In addition to fast cutting speed, the cutting action produces minimal heat and virtually no burr. Sometimes called a milled finish as the blade turns very slowly. Unlike abrasive sawing, there is no smoke, sparks, and heat distortion. No additional processes are required prior to welding or assembly. Because the circular steel saw blade is spindle mounted, the resulting cut is very accurate or square. Sawing fluid supplied to the blade during the sawing process extends blade life and prevents rusting of ferrous parts. Saw blades can be re-sharpened until the diameter won't allow the blade to complete the cutting process. Saw blades can be ground especially for ferrous and non-ferrous metals as well as for stainless steel. BROBO saws are assembled from high strength castings machined in-house. These saws will provide years of trouble-free sawing, quickly and accurately. The spindle mounted bronze worm gear is driven by a taper bearing mounted steel worm shaft coupled to the electric motor. The drive train rotates in a constant oil bath. Powered by either 220v or 440v (3ø) 2 speed or 220v (1ø) 1 speed electric motors. Spindle speeds available: 26/52 or 52/103 for (3ø) motors and 52rpm for (1ø) motors. The flat clamping table and 90° back fences provide a stable platform for all materials resulting in repetitive square cuts as the work piece is held by a manual vise, air vise, or light duty air clamp. All manual BROBO saws are designed to cut from 90° to 45°. All machines are shipped ready to run and include:
BROBO-USA a division of Ventura Saw & Abrasive Company has these machines in stock.
