Our primary business is the distribution and sale of sawing machines, saw blades, abrasives, and a wide range of other tooling from manufacturers in the U.S. and abroad. Our sawshop department provides sharpening and reconditioning services, special tooling, tool modifications and made-to-order items such as bandsaw blades. Our oldest operation, Santa Barbara Saw, began in its present location in 1964. California Carbide, Inc. was incorporated in 1991 under its present management.
